Greeting
The ONGOING MACROBIOTIC STUDIES is part of our Global Macrobiotics effort to continuously provide and develop macrobiotic education. This ongoing online classes are conducted and taught by Patricio Garcia de Paredes and coordinated, translated and available locally in collaboration with our international network and partner schools in Japan, China, Malaysia and Vietnam. This ongoing study sessions is available to all of our students to help them proceed in their macrobiotic studies, to provide guidance and a platform for continuous discussion and learning that provides practical applications of macrobiotic principles in daily life with the goal of improving health and happiness. The only prerequisite to take this online classes is to have completed our Level 1 Course or a similar course containing the basics of macrobiotics. This ongoing online classes are particularly intended for those who have completed our Levels 2 and 3 courses and wish to continue their macrobiotic studies.
Purpose and contents
1. Macrobiotics is both very deep and broad because it relates to many aspects of life and include many views and practical applications. Therefore, it can’t be covered only within the limited time of our Levels 1, 2 and 3 Courses. And many times our students request about their wish to continue studying and for us to conduct new classes covering new material and information. These ongoing study sessions will provide this opportunity to proceed together with our macrobiotic studies, get a better understanding of life and ourselves, make improvements in our practice and help support your development.
2. As part of our practice and efforts to implement macrobiotics into our daily life, we usually come across many questions. Sometimes these questions arise as part of our practice and include our own experience and observations. Other times these questions may arise from our families and friends who question our new views and practices. In other cases you may want to get some insights on how we view certain contemporary issues that may differ from currently commonly accepted perspectives. Or simply you are also welcome to ask any question you wish. And if it is an interesting subject worth paying more attention and learning more about it, it could also become the main theme for a future class. These questions will be collected when you sign up or about one week before the class starts by the respective schools in which you registered and, time allowed, will be included on the second part of the study session.

NINE STAR KI course
~The nine types of energy you receive from the year you were born determine your personality~

[Introduction]
Kyusei-Kigaku is a teaching material that can be learned in the advanced level (Level 3) of the Global Macrobiotics Program.
This workshop has proven so popular that in the past, even people who started out by trying out the first session ended up attending all five sessions.
The Kyusei Kigaku you can learn here is a class to learn how to use tools to think about the future. It is different from fortune telling.
This time, we will set a minimum number of participants. We look forward to seeing everyone who is interested.
The future may not always be bright.
I hope that listening to Naoki's story will help lighten the burden on your shoulders even a little.
[About the course]
The new year in Kyusei-Kigaku*, an ancient Eastern cosmology, will begin on February 4th (February 3rd in 2025).
There are various interpretations of Kyusei-Kigaku, but this five-session course will delve deeply into a larger perspective based on Professor Hisashi's understanding of life.
Kyusei Kigaku is a very practical course that can be used both personally and socially, such as to understand your innate constitution and temperament, smooth out human relationships, guide your family and others, and plan your business and life. As you take the course, you will become aware of the individual characteristics of yourself, your family, and those around you, and you will come to understand that we are products of our environment, living in a constantly changing energy. One of the most wonderful things you can learn from this course is that you will be able to accept yourself, your family, and those around you from a broader perspective. The fifth lecture will be about Kyusei and deeper spirituality.
#1: Learn how Kyusei Kigaku works and how the energy of your birth year affects you and the people around you. By knowing this, you can understand what kind of energy the people around you are living with and how you are related to them.
#2: By knowing the energy of your birth month, you will be able to see the difference between your childhood self and your adult self, so you will be able to look at yourself more deeply. Through self-observation that delves into yourself, you will also be able to understand the detailed tendencies of other people and develop an objective perspective.
#3: The month and year of birth determine the weak organs of each person. Moreover, each person has their own tendency to overuse certain organs. Knowing your weak organs and your tendency to overuse them will make it easier to maintain your health.
#4: Since the things you can do differ depending on the house that changes every year, you should learn the tendencies that you receive from each house. By knowing the tendencies that change every year, you can make a nine-year plan and use it in your future life.
#5: You will gain a new perspective on life and learn about the attitude you should take in life. It will also give you clues about why you were born and help you live a meaningful life.
